Stories are how we think about life, truth meaning. We know Yeshua primarily through stories since we didn’t see him in person. What can a story do? How much can a story affect us? What response could a story call for?
Thinking that stories are lacking power to shape our world is false. Stories are everything that shape our perception of the world.
Yeshua’s story demands a response, and I’m not just talking about some onetime religious change or decision. Yeshua’s story calls for a continual critical reflection of the meaning of all other stories. In this first part of the series, we consider the response demanded by the stories of Yeshua as healer and as defeater of demonic powers.
Yeshua in Context, the book, is now at the printer, and due for release August 31. Email derek4messiah@gmail.com to be on the pre-order list. The Yeshua in Context podcast will continue beyond the release of the book. There’s plenty more to talk about and more books to come as well.
