Many people ignore Yeshua’s story, a touching tale that makes little difference in a busy life.
But Yeshua said “remain in me” and “apart from me you can do nothing.” In one of his final parables, he explained to his disciples how to respond after he was gone, ascended to the right hand of Power. The parable has often seemed vague, but if you understand the structure in which Yeshua told it (parable in John 15:1-4 and explanation in vss. 15-17), the meaning is not so vague.
