I just got a call from an old friend. She wants to go to Israel and is looking for a tour group. I haven’t led a tour since December 2008. I tried to put one together for January 2011 and things did not work out. Tours are expensive — airfare is $1,500 all by itself and a 10-day tour is going to run about $3,600 per person (double occupancy).
That said . . . who is interested in joining me for a SUMMER TOUR in 2011 (it’s hot in the summer, which is why I usually avoid it)?
Or, who would be interested in joining me for a DECEMBER TOUR in 2011 (best time to go, in my opinion)?
This will not the be the rather rugged, athletic tour I tried to put together before (too many people can’t go if we camp out one night and hike and so on.
